Biography: Rahul Khanna is the son of an actor and MP Vinod Khanna and brother to Akshaye Khanna. Rahul was born and brought up in Mumbai. However, his keen interest in arts got him an admission at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute as well as the School of Visual Arts in New York. 

After completing his training, he took up the responsibility of being an VJ for MTV Asia, which did give him a huge popularity. Finally, in the year 1998, Rahul made his on-screen bollywood debut with Deepa Mehta’s Earth, which although being a offbeat movie got him very rave reveiws and his first Filmfare award as a newcomer. After which, Rahul has done very few movies to his credit and is very choosy about selecting a perfect script.
