Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. The film, about a happy-go-lucky boy Prem falling head over heels in love with the sweet and simple Jenny, has caught the attention of many. Their sizzling chemistry is evident from the promos of the movie and
Katrina has termed the film as an out-and-out comedy with a dash of sweet, but crazy romance added to it. “Both Prem and Jenny are two simple everyday people; they are as ordinary as you or anybody else, but it’s their love that makes them extraordinary”, Katrina explains the film in her own words.
With heavy expectations riding on director Santoshi after his most memorable comedy
Andaz Apna Apna way back in 1994, the film however has generated a lot of attention because of the dewy fresh pairing of Ranbir and Katrina. Santoshi though has a lot more in store for the audiences. And one such surprise we hear is surely going to blow audiences away. A scene in the promo in which Katrina shouts out Prem’s name, and while Ranbir thinks she’s running his way, he is left in a rude shock when she passes by him. A source from the set reveals the secret saying, “She runs into the arms of
Salman Khan who has a special appearance in the film, as Sallu is the original Prem of Bollywood with numerous films with the same name. The scene will leave you in shock indeed. Salman is very important to the climax and when Santoshi asked him to be a part of the film, he readily agreed, considering their association goes back to
Andaz Apna Apna.”
There was news of Salman making his presence felt on the sets of
Ajab Prem.. after the news of his girlfriend and Ranbir’s dating surfaced. Sources said he would watch them intently, but being thorough professionals, Ranbir and Katrina were left unfazed. Surprisingly, Ranbir’s girlfriend
Deepika also accompanied Salman at times on the sets, and it seems like no love was lost in the bargain. Who knows, maybe even she might have a special appearance in the movie!
