“De Dana Dan is a comedy, romantic film for which Priyan sir wanted light music. So, it has simple and fun music. There is a steamy number between Akshay and Katrina, which has been well shot," says Pritam, who is currently too busy with his newborn baby girl. Pritam’s wife Smita delivered the baby girl at 9.30 a.m on November 12 at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. Today she has turned one week old. “My family is complete now - hum do, humare do,” adds Pritam.

There are a total of twelve tracks in the new film - half of them are just the remix of the same songs. “Nowadays, people love listening to remix songs, and that’s why every album has remix songs. If we don’t make it, someone else will make it,” says Pritam categorically.

The song where Akshay and Katrina sizzle the screen is called called Hottie-Naughty, and they are shown getting wet and cozy in the rains. It does seem to be like the Mohra song that Akshay did with Raveena long ago, but Pritam begs to differ, at least muscially. He says that it is not at all like that number, although he agrees that since it is shot in the rain too and has the same sort of costumes, comparisons will be made.

De Dana Dan stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy. It’s a light-hearted comedy, which bring backs the famous comedy jodi of Hera Pheri.
