1) I am genetically blessed to be slim, so no matter how much I eat, I stay slim. Yes, sometimes I do gain weight, which is when I monitor my diet and reduce the junk food. I eat well, as I have a huge appetite, and I hardly curb my cravings.
2) I play badminton or volleyball or any other outdoor sport. When I go to the gym, I do cardio and light weights. I also practice Yoga, as it relaxes me. People tend to get bored of going to the gym, so it is important to change your routine from time to time. Fun outdoor sports like cycling, badminton, tennis and football give you a sense of freedom and one seldom tires of them. So step out and play.
3) Losing weight or being fit is a combination of a work-out routine customized according to your body and requirements along with a healthy, well-balanced and customized diet. What works for one may not work for another. Fitness is also a state of mind and a feeling. It isn’t about big muscles.
4) Home-made food is very healthy, nutritious and balanced. If you have wholesome meals, it will reflect on your skin and hair. One must never go on crash diets as they don’t work and have a negative impact on your skin, hair and general health.
5) One must sleep for at least eight hours a day, drink plenty of water and have small meals throughout the day. Be happy, follow your passion, be loving, polite, grateful, and kind, and pray as fitness is about mental, spiritual and physical well-being.
