A source tells us, ‘Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, Riya and Raima Sen, Sohail Khan, Shibani Kashyap and a bunch of other celebrities walked the ramp for Sanjana Jon at a fashion week in New Delhi. After the show, they headed to a private party at a five-star hotel. The party went on till very late. Everybody was having a great time until one sloshed girl tried to gate-crash into the party.’

He continues, ‘The girl, whose name is Monika, is the daughter of a prominent builder. She was drunk out of her wits and completely out of control. Her friend had to take care of her. She demanded to be allowed entry to the section where the celebrities were partying. Sohail Khan saw how drunk she was and asked the security guard to refuse her entry on the grounds that it was a private party. She was making a huge fuss on being denied entry inside, which drew Salman Khan’s attention. She even hailed abuses at Sushmita Sen. When Salman arrived at the scene, out of nowhere, she just slapped him. Everybody was shocked. Salman is quite a hot-headed guy, but like a mature gentleman, he kept his cool and did not react. He asked his guards to whisk her away and went inside with Sohail, and the party continued.’

The source goes on, 'Monika is from an uber rich background and has a typical Delhiite bindaas behaviour. Salman was quite courteous to her, and made sure he did not make a noise about the incident, because he will be victimised by the media. He went right back to the party and played a good host to Sanjana Jon, whose brother Anand has been recently convicted and jailed in America on rape charges. Keeping this in mind, he did not want to ruin Sanjana's reputation back here in the capital city, where Sanjana was having her moment at the fashion week. Salman is very keen on supporting her at this bad hour.'

When contacted, Sohail brushed off the incident as a minor fracas and said it was not 'Khan-like' to discuss such trivial matters and that all is well in the Khan household.

The source adds, ‘This is yet another instance of how nice Salman is. He knows how to treat women, especially those who are drunk and out of their minds. If it were a guy, he would have retaliated. His calm demeanour was appreciated by everybody present.’
