Both of them got into an intense discussion over Paa and 3 Idiots, leaving both highly impressed with each other’s projects. Not only did they wish each all the best, but they also agreed on promoting their films for each other. While Bachchan posted in his blog about his meeting with Aamir, Aamir changed his status on social networking sites to 'Pucca Idiott is waiting for Paa'. When StarBoxOffice asked Aamir about which other film apart from 3 Idiots he was eagerly waiting for, he replied, "Indeed Paa. I was amazed when I saw the promos of Mr. Bachchan in Paa. The concept is very unique, and it will definitely be a film to watch out for, I'm sure."

A source close to the Bachchans adds, "Big B knows that Aamir is a marketing genius. He makes sure that his films are the talk of the town before their release, in turn garnering major crowd turnout. With Ghajini, he had promotional activities such as people sporting his famed haircut, etc. With 3 Idiots, he is going straight to the youth, considering the film is about youngsters. He's interacting with teenagers and is active on several networking sites. Mr. Bachchan felt Aamir was perfect to spread word about his upcoming film Paa, which is based on a completely new subject such as Progeria. Aamir is the thinking man's actor, and who better to generate news about Paa than him? Big B too is planning to go all the way in promoting 3 Idiots when it releases in December. For now, one of the two biggest forces in B-town have united."

By this, the source refers to the tiff that Aamir and Bachchan had back in 2007 when Aamir's film Taare Zameen Par and Bachchan's film Black had released.
