Shahid and Anushka are working together in Parmeet Sethi’s film for Yash Raj. They have shot for the film in Mumbai, Bangkok and USA. A source tells us, “Shahid and Anushka are very friendly and comfortable with each other. Anushka is new in the industry, and Shahid is a reliable friend. He has been in the industry for a long time, so he can guide her as well or just tell her about how the industry works. They talk a lot on the phone and are SMS buddies too. They look good together and both are single, so dating is an option.”

Our source adds, “Anushka is a very bubbly, sweet and simple girl. Shahid has always preferred such women to the outgoing types. And Shahid is a complete charmer and a genuinely nice and likeable guy. In the film, they have been paired romantically and one can’t deny that there is chemistry between them. Also, Shahid has burnt his fingers in the past, so he is taking it slowly and doesn’t want to admit to anything right now. Things are better when kept under wraps.”

Shahid denied rumours of a romance between them. “I am very happy to be single right now. It’s not that I haven’t been in a relationship (since my break-up with Bebo), and I know how to woo a girl if I want to. When I am sure that there is something special, a real connection with somebody, people will come to know about it.”

Shahid has been linked to Vidya Balan, Amrita Rao and Priyanka Chopra since his break-up with Kareena Kapoor in 2007. He hasn’t confirmed any of the alleged romances. Anushka Sharma broke up with her boyfriend when she entered Bollywood, and hasn’t been linked with anybody.
