Shamita Shetty is currently in the Bigg Boss house, a reality TV show on Colors, based on the U.K version Big Brother. Shilpa, who amassed her international fame and popularity on Bigg Brother, had actually coaxed Shamita to take part in the Indian version of the show. Coincidentally, Shamita’s Bollywood career is on the same stage as Shilpa’s back in the days prior to her Big Brother success. Her last film Cash tanked without a trace, and Shamita’s hoping that her career will see the same high as that of Shilpa’s today.

However, what’s surprised the media and fans is that Shilpa announced her engagement to Raj while Shamita was still in the Bigg Boss house. She didn’t even care to notify her little sister who sits and mopes all day on how she misses her elder sister and to-be brother-in-law. While some say that Shilpa has already been allotted the wedding dates, that is November 22nd, this month by her superstitious mother and astrologists, others say that Shilpa is insecure of her little sister’s closeness to her beau. A source close to Shilpa reveals, “Shamita gets a little too close for comfort with Raj. Even in the show, she was heard telling Rohit Verma that she really likes spending time with Raj and really misses him when they’re not around. She even said she hopes to catch up with them once she’s out of the house, as he is based in London.”

Another source, however, defends Shilpa saying, “That’s not true. Shilpa is very superstitious and goes with everything her mother tells her. It was her mother’s advice for her to go for Big Brother, which later changed the course of her life. And now that the days have already been allotted, she simply can’t go against it. She knows her sister will understand.”

Buzz is that Shilpa will notify her sister Shamita on Bigg Boss about her wedding tomorrow. But whether she gets her out of the house is still unknown.
