The actor had a ball of a time addressing the media at his residence in the day when he joked with them on turning a year older. He spoke to them about his future plans and what his children had planned on gifting him on his birthday. He even asked them to send in their gifts by the end of the week.

After all the hullabaloo the entire day, SRK attended a quite bash good friend and actor Sanjay Kapoor hosted for him at his Juhu residence. It is interesting to notice that SRK has a long-standing friendship with Sanjay, while he is not on good terms with Anil Kapoor. Both Anil and Sonam were not invited to the small get-together, and this only goes to prove that the brother Sanjay and Anil do not see eye to eye on all things SRK.

A source present there revealed, “Sanjay and Shah Rukh share a close friendship. Their wives, also known hosts, are very good friends and they decided to throw a bash for King Khan amidst his few B-town friends. Present at the party were SRK’s best friends Karan Johar and Farah Khan. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, both dressed casually, came in together and had a whale of a time with SRK on the dancefloor.

A glowing Karishma was spotted with a little baby bump and was accompanied with hubby Sanjay Kapoor and designer Shabina Khan, who shares a close association with the Khans. Everyone was wondering whether Katrina Kaif would also be present at the party as both Shah Rukh and Kat couldn’t leave each other’s side at Suzanne Roshan’s birthday bash a few days ago. Maybe Salman had heard of her earlier escapades and held her back this time around. But all in all, the party went on smoothly, with SRK spending quality time with his friends and family on his birthday.”

Astonishingly, Malaika Arora, who is a regular at all SRK-related parties, was not present, giving rise to speculation that SRK had something to do with who would attend the bash, and this time, no one from Salman's side was invited. Kajol too was not present, and this could be because Ajay Devgn lent his support to Salman at his fashion show some weeks ago. As the years go by, it seems SRK has lesser friends to party with on his big day.
