"I'm planning to make it but not right now as this is not the right time to make a film with a budget of 200 crore….when the industry is suffering from recession and this film requires a lot of man power and money. There is no change in the lead. Sanjay Dutt will still be playing the role of Sikh regiment’s Hawaldar Ishar Singh while the remaining 21 actors are yet to be finalized….it will take time… say about more then 6 months."

Bunty adds that Dutt’s political plans have also forced him to put the film on the back burner for the moment. "Sanjay Dutt wants to do this film as he is the co-producer of the film. But right now he is managing his work and also planning his political strategy for his Lok Sabha elections so for the time being things are on hold. The shooting will be in Morocco as it will be the perfect location for the war which took place."

About the battle of Saragarhi
The battle of Saragarhi was fought in 1897 in areas bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan now known as the North West Frontier Province. Sanjay will play the leader of the Sikh regiment, Havaldar Ishar Singh, in the film which will have 20 other actors playing the roles of the 20 brave Sikhs who formed the back bone of the regiment and fought till their death.
