Match was super but performances were not!
The entertainment factor at the IPL final between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings was not as exciting as the nail biting match which underdog team Rajasthan Royals finally won.
Starlet Amrita Arora was for a change, fully clad in a patiala suit. She danced to her buddy Kareena’s tracks like Nagada Nagada and the Mohali team anthem. Her performance was not as bright as her outfit as she didn’t even sing the song she was dancing to.
Next came hottie Sameera Reddy to shake a leg to the Kolkatta Knight Riders’ anthem and Dola Re Dola from Devdas. Clad in ethnic Bengali attire, she looked pretty and danced pretty well.
Shamita Shetty shook a leg to the Bangalore Royal Challengers’ theme, ‘Jeetenge hum shaan se’, it is quite an irony they were nowhere near the finals! She appeared to be slightly plum and decided to hide the fat in a body suit. Since she was not a part of the Deewangi song in OSO, unlike her sister Shilpa, she danced to Deewangi, Dhoom Taana over here. She finished her act with the Chennai Super Kings anthem, Yelo Mama. She appeared quite nervous and rehearsed and her performance lacked josh!
Pretty girl Dia Mirza danced to the Mumbai Indians theme and a song from Don. She was clad in a traditional Mahrashtrian Koli outfit and her act was mediocre. The acrobats held the audience spellbound with their marvelous performance, astounding everyone with their remarkable posture, flexibility, poses and toned bodies! This act was truly a treat!
Rounding up the performances was Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Dancers in minis and unbuttoned shirts set the stage on fire shaking a leg to Salaam-e-ishq, Partner and You’re my love. After 3 songs, the superstar appeared, dancing to his latest song, Dus Ka Dum from the TV show of the same name. For a change, he ditched his casual style for a black suit and white shirt while a glitzy belt jazzed up his outfit. He proved that he can dance.
The glamour quotient of the match was upped by the rare presence of Aamir Khan and nephew Imran, Vinod Khanna, Nita and Mukesh Ambani and the Tendulkars. Sachin sported a very shiny tee. Sania Mirza was also present minus rumoured beau Shahid.
