Preity’s Punjab in a Mess
May 31, 2008 was one horrible day for Preity Zinta. Whatever Kings XI Punjab tried against Chennai Super Kings in the semis did not work and Preity was left holding her head in disappointment. Punjab was one of the favourites to win the title and so Preity and Ness were very confident of their team. But that pressure bogged the team down and led to a pathetic on-field performance. There were a number of misunderstandings between the batsmen.
Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal, who was a regular cheer leading member of the Kolkata Knight Riders, was seen cheering for Kings X1 Punjab. But this time too his effort was in vain so once again Arjun did not have a reason to smile. Better luck next time Arjun.
The new look Amrita Rao was also present at the match. She was heard saying, "I have always watched matches in the drawing room with my friends and family, but this time I just could not miss the opportunity to watch it live at the stadium. It’s a really different experience for me."
She was wearing a yellow outfit so we guess she was supporting Chennai Super Kings who won the semis convincingly.
