Akshay Khanna Cheers No-one At IPL
The semi-finals between Delhi Daredevils and Rajasthan Royals had Bollywood celebrity Akshay Khanna gracing the occasion. He was present in the pre-cricket event to promote his forthcoming film Mere Baap Pehle Aap.
Akshay made it pretty clear that he is not taking any sides and his costumes just made the point more prominent by not wearing any team jersey. He said, "I miss having my father Paresh Rawal," which when responded with a confused stare from the anchor was continued with a more clear, "Paresh plays my father in Mere Baap Pehle Aap and I would have loved to have him here with me."
Apparently, it was the first live-cricket experience for Akshaye Khanna who had never been to watch a cricket match ever before. The cheerleaders as usual added that extra tint of glamour and the crowds of course didn’t mind it!
